Job Purpose
- Ensure all Maintenance and repair activities associated with
Both Lucy Switchgear and other manufacturers are successfully
carried out in accordance with Safety Technical and legislative
Policies and procedures..
- Provide Support when Required on all Lucy Equipment.
- Provide Training Both in house and on Customers site for all
Lucy Equipment
- Develop and promote new services with a view to expanding the
services provided.
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop standard risk assessments and method statements for
routine service tasks.
- Provide full, written reports for all site visits in a timely
manner.
- Ensure that all on-site visits comply with all current Health
& Safety / CDM legislation.
- Carry out training on the installation and operation of all
Lucy equipment.
- .Support After Sales service coordinator in providing Customers
with technical information
- Support After Sales service coordinator in providing
information to effectively plan and utilise resources
Dimensions:
The role will be based at Lucy Thame in the UK, travel within
the UK and overseas may be required.
Secondary Activities / Tasks
To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as required /
instructed in order to maintain and / or improve the efficiency,
quality and service of the department.
Experience Knowledge & Skills
Qualifications
- A relevant electrical / mechanical qualification is
required
Skills
- Good communication skills
- Good organisational skills
- Able to fault find on equipment
- Ability to travel in the UK and overseas at short notice
- Able to work on own, in a safe manner
- Team Player
- Ability to work under pressure
- Attention to detail
- Pro-active approach and a willingness to contribute new
ideas
